Join us for a scenic sponsored walk, followed by watching the England vs Wales Six Nations game and a free refreshing pint and heart-warming pie at Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club.
This fun-filled event is appropriate for all ages, sports fans and walkers alike. There will be plenty of refreshments available throughout the afternoon and early evening for purchase at the bar.
In order for us to provide adequate catering and coach transfers, all participants must pre-register. Your registration fee includes your place on the walk, pie ‘n chips and a pint (wine and non-alcoholic options available) at Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club, and a commemorative gift.
All 10 mile walkers will meet at Birmingham Hospice, Selly Park site B29 7DA from 10am for registration and pre-walk refreshments. The 10 mile walk will start at 11:00am, and we expect everyone to arrive at the Rugby Club by 4pm ready for game kick off at 4.45pm.
If you are joining us from the north of the city, there will be a coach transfer from our Erdington site at 9.30am for the first 50 people to select this option on their registration form.
After your well-earned rest whilst watching the rugby, we will be providing a coach transfer for all 10 mile walkers from Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club to Birmingham Hospice’s Selly Park or Erdington sites (if you wish to have one). Please note, there is no return coach to The Village Pub, but you are welcome to return to either Birmingham Hospice site. Please let us know by requesting the coach transfer upon booking, to ensure we have enough space for everyone. In order for us to provide adequate catering and coach transfers, all participants must pre-register.
We will once again be offering a more relaxing, just under 3 mile route option starting at The Village Pub Moseley from 2pm.
If you are taking on the 3 mile route, you will register at The Village Pub Moseley B13 8JR from 2pm – 3pm to arrive at the rugby club from 4pm.
Ticket prices
Early bird prices (until 21 November 2023): £10 per person, or £8.50 per person for a team of four or more (with code TEAM15)
Standard prices: £15 per person, or £12.50 per person for a team of four or more (with code TEAM15)
Sponsorship
Your registration fee covers the cost of hosting the event. It is your sponsorship money that makes a difference to the individuals and families we support and care for. There is no minimum sponsorship target, but we do ask that you fundraise as much as you can.
