Light up a Life is a special evening of remembrance where we come together to reflect and celebrate our loved ones lost.

Your loved ones do not need to have been cared for at Birmingham Hospice, everyone is welcome.

which will also be shown at both events.

Dedications need to be made by Monday 4 December.

Memorial events like this are so important. They give us the chance to stop and reflect on those no longer with us, and for those nearing the end of life, reminds them that they won’t be forgotten.

Is Light up a Life an indoor or outdoor event?

The service at Harvest Fields Centre is indoors.

The Birmingham Hospice – Selly Park service is outdoors, so please wrap up warm.

Are the services free to attend?

Yes!

What can I expect on the night?

A special service and opportunity to reflect with hot food and drinks being sold.

How long are the services?

The services begin at 6.30pm but you can arrive from 6pm when we open our doors. We expect the services to last approximately 45 minutes.

Who can attend?

Yes, we would love for you to join us. You do not need to have a connection to the hospice to attend. Children are also welcome.

Where can I park for the Harvest Fields Service?

There is adequate parking on-site and in the neighbouring streets, though please be mindful of residents.

Where can I park for the Selly Park Service?

There is very limited parking at Birmingham Hospice – Selly Park. There is free on-road parking nearby, however, these spaces fill quickly. Please be mindful of our local residents when parking and consider using public transport where possible.
