Great Birmingham Run 2025

We are planning to have limited charity places in the 2025 AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run half marathon, and would love for you to join #TeamBrumsHospice!

Run to make every moment matter in Brum’s most famous run and go the extra mile for local people living with a terminal diagnosis, and their families.

You can purchase your own place in the Great Birmingham Run on the official race website. If you’ve already got a place and are interested in running for our charity, please email events@birminghamhospice.org.uk and our Events Team will be in touch.

What is a charity place runner?

Charity place runners are people who sign up to run for Birmingham Hospice in the Great Birmingham Run and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship target of £250 (excluding gift aid) in return for their free charity place.

How do I secure a charity place?

To secure a charity place with Birmingham Hospice, you need to pledge to raise a minimum of £250 (excluding gift aid) when signing up. By doing so, you will make such an incredible difference. Now, more than ever, our expert and compassionate care is needed to ensure people die comfortably, in a place of their choice, and with dignity.
