I'm taking part in the Great Birmingham run on the 20th of October for St Mary's.

I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking when I signed up if I'm honest. I'm more nerd than athlete and have accidentally started running. Even so, 13 miles is a LOT further than the 4 miles I'm used to.

I’ll need a really good reason to keep going over those extra miles and there is no better reason I can think of than helping the lovely people at the hospice. When my Dad was losing his battle with cancer they took fantastic care of him and all of us. I really don’t know what we’d have done without them.

They can only keep on offering their fantastic support to families thanks with your help, so please donate to make sure they can do even more.

Thank you. :-)
