Role: Volunteer Finance Support

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as part of our busy and dynamic Finance Processing team.  You would carry out various tasks, according to your skill and experience, which would assist in processing donations and providing an excellent level of service to our supporters.

No need to be a maths wiz, a professional approach and attention to detail are far more important.  You will be a valued member of the team and have an opportunity to gain or develop key workplace skills, or put your existing skills to good use in our busy office.

The Finance Department perform a key service to the hospice providing accurate financial information to stakeholders in a timely manner.  We pride ourselves on ensuring that all income received is safeguarded for the benefit of hospice care, helping us to care and support even more people living with life-limiting illness across Birmingham and Sandwell.

You will do some or all of the following….

  • Assist in counting income
  • Preparing collecting boxes and buckets
  • Bank income and prepare for collection
  • Input data in to our CRM database, donorflex.
  • Filing and general administrative duties
