Cook (Bank)

Flexible hours – as and when required for the needs of the service. 

Hourly rate £8.16 per hour 

We are looking for dedicated, flexible individuals to support our catering team and deliver high quality, freshly prepared and cooked meals to our patients and staff.

Duties will include food preparation, cooking and serving beverages and food to patients and staff; clearing away and washing up after food preparation and meal times; ensuring safety and hygiene checks are completed in compliance with legislative requirements and supervising catering assistants and volunteers. Applicants must have Level 3 NVQ in Professional Cookery and a current (attained within the last 3 years) CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. Applicants without these qualifications will not be considered.

It is essential for the post holder to be flexible and available for work at short notice. Shifts will include day shifts 7.00 am – 2pm or evening shifts 5.00pm – 8.00pm including weekends and Bank Holidays.
