Clinic Administration Volunteer Reports To: Admin Team (CPCT) and Clinic Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Location: Day Hospice Entrance Hours: Tuesday mornings 09.00am - 13.00pm Key Duties: You will… Welcome and support patient and their families on arrival and look after their needs before and after seeing the CNS in Outpatients Prepare the environment to ensure parking space, room and refreshments are ready and available in a timely manner for patient’s arrival Show the patient and their family around IPU if they wish Liaise with Facilities and IPU staff as well as CNS as indicated to facilitate the visit and ensure runs smoothly Inform CNS if you have any concerns about the patient or family or need help or advice about how best to care for them Help with paperwork e.g. questionnaire if needed Arrange appointments utilising IT systems Let team know if you are unable to attend shift so can obtain support from elsewhere Ensure use discretion and confidentiality Will the role suit me?
