For more than thirty years, Birmingham St Mary's Hospice has been providing exemplary care for people in Birmingham with an incurable illness, their families and carers.

Reporting directly to the Head of Trading and in collaboration with the District Manager and the shops team this role will work to grow the income generation and profile of the Hospice through the effective administration and distribution of shops consumables, equipment and stock.

This role is a crucial role within the retail trading department and is pivotal to the growth of the department. You will a highly organised and motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have at least 3 year’s retail management experience or  experience in a similar logistical / administration role and ideally some experience in buying new goods (although this is not essential).  You should also have knowledge and experience of working with a range of suppliers and volunteers and have a proven ability to build relationships at all levels. 

Experience of using charity retail epos e-productive systems is also advantageous.
