Hospice Pay Band 4: £19,848 – £23,485 per annum pro rata (depending on skills and experience)

Are you an experienced and qualified Housekeeping/Cleaning Supervisor? 

Do you have demonstrable experience in infection prevention and control, excellent attention to detail and are looking for a challenge working for an organisation with a strong focus on delivering outstanding patient care?

The Hospice provides support to patients within our In Patient Unit, Day Hospice and through our counselling and community care services, we also have services dedicated to raising the funds to provide these essential and much needed services as the Hospice is only partially funded by NHS.

The above role is to co-ordinate and run the Housekeeping services within the Hospice building. Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety especially infection prevention and control, legionella, clinical waste management is essential along with an understanding of CQC standards.

Basic IT skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is also essential to be able to provide concise and clear records to support the service.

Knowledge of Healthcare Technical Memorandums is desirable as is experience of setting and reviewing budgetary requirements and service reviews.

The Housekeeping team consists of a team of 10 permanent staff and 2 casual staff split over 3 shifts per day.  The team provides a service 7 days per week 365 days per year and is essential to support our patients and clinical teams.
