Butterfly Fund Celebrate the life of your loved one A butterfly fund is a unique and meaningful way to celebrate the life of someone special, whist supporting Birmingham St Mary’s. It gives you the chance to create a lasting tribute to your loved one. A fund is quick and easy to set up and it means that anyone – family, friends or colleagues can make a contribution in whatever way they might wish. Each gift will act as a tribute to the person in whose honour the fund has been created and help to support patients and families living with terminal illness in Birmingham and Sandwell. Growing your Butterfly Fund There are many ways that family, friends and colleagues can contribute to your Butterfly Fund: Make gifts on a special day – We understand that special days like birthdays, Christmas and anniversaries can be particularly difficult for family and friends. You may take comfort in knowing that your gift, in memory of your loved one, will help other patients and families living with terminal illness. Become a Hospice Guardian – These are supporters who decide to make a regular monthly donation to the Hospice. By making a regular gift you can help ensure we are always here to care for everyone who needs us, now and in the future. All donations made via regular gifts can be allocated to your Butterfly Fund, in memory of your loved one. Hold an event – Fundraising events can be as small as a coffee morning or as large as a ball and all proceeds will go towards your Butterfly Fund. Take part in a sponsored event – If the thought of your loved one inspires you to do something out of the ordinary, why not sign up to one of our many events? From sky dives to marathons, we have something for everyone.
