The post holder will be part of a team of staff providing a catering service to patients, staff and visitors in the Hospice. Duties will include serving beverages and food to patients and staff; basic food preparation (vegetables etc.); clearing away and washing up after food preparation and meal times; cleaning the kitchen and associated areas.

Applicants must have a current Food Hygiene Certificate NVQ Level 2 (attained within the last 3 years).

It is essential for the post holder to be flexible to work additional hours at short notice. The post holder will be required to work hours to cover annual leave and sickness, and work Bank holidays on a Bank basis.
