Our services
Our Inpatient Units (IPUs) at Selly Park and Erdington are available when you need intensive symptom management, emotional or social crisis support, or care for the last days of life.
Our Specialist Community Palliative Care Team will work alongside your GP, district nurse and anyone else involved in your care, to ensure you’re fully supported during your time with Birmingham Hospice.
If you choose to be at home for your final days, we will work alongside your GP and district nurses to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be.
Our team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers will work with you in our Inpatient Units, Living Well Centres or your own home to promote and support your independence.
Our Living Well Centres are a place to meet others in a similar situation to you and receive support together. You’ll learn how to cope with symptoms, take part in therapeutic activities and set realistic goals.
We have a team of Counsellors, Spiritual Carers, Therapists and Bereavement Volunteers whose focus is on supporting you and your loved ones emotionally and spiritually.
