SUNDAY 19th MARCH 2017

Our 75km hilly challenge starts in Bartley Green and extends into the Worcestershire countryside. The route meanders through scenic villages such as Romsley, Belbroughton, Chaddesley Corbett, Dodford and Barnt Green. After just 5km participants are presented with Romsley Hill, a 4km hill climb designed to warm up our cyclists. The route goes out as far as Stoke Prior before heading back into the South Birmingham suburbs. As the sail boats come into view at Bartley Green reservoir participants take on the final stretch towards the finish line.

Cyclist can sign-in at leisure on the day and head off at any time between 9am and 10am. We provide a range of refreshments and toilets at the start/finish venue as well as a feed station and comfort stop on route. All riders who successfully cross the finish line will be rewarded with a commemorative gift and certificate.

The 2016 event saw some great feedback from participants with particular reference made to the scenic, hilly route which is predominantly on country lanes, excellent signage, post event food and excellent organisation.

Reservoir Relay

For those new to cycling or for families and children wanting to take part in our high profile cycling event in support Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice we are introducing the ‘Reservoir Relay’.

Sign in at King Edward VI Five Ways school from 10.30am and take on our challenge around this scenic part of South Birmingham. A registration fee is payable per person and then we ask you to raise additional funds through sponsorship. Perhaps you could ask friends school mates to sponsor you £1 per lap or ask mum and dad to make a £10 donation.

Your efforts will be rewarded with a commemorative gift and certificate and free food and drink once you’ve finished.

To register your place simply complete the booking form below or email This relay is open to participants of all ages but we ask that children under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult at all times as the relay takes place on open roads still open to vehicles and pedestrians.
