The Great Birmingham Run is an amazing event with a great atmosphere. If you'd like to take on this challenge whilst supporting your local Hospice why not take one of our FREE event places?

In 2016 over 160 people ran the Great Birmingham Run in support of Birmingham St Mary's Hospice. We need your help to make our team even bigger for 2017.  If you're feeling inspired to take on a running challenge this year then the Great Birmingham Run is for you. So sign up using one our FREE places and become part of the Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice team!

The Great Birmingham Run takes place on Sunday 15th October and is a 13.1 mile half marathon around the city. Open to runners of all levels and experience once you’ve joined our team we will provide you with training and fundraising support along the way. Our support package includes:

  • Your exclusive Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice running vest
  • A sponsorship form and information on using online sponsorship tools
  • Unlimited support from a dedicated Fundraising team member
  • Ongoing training information and advice via our free online training zone
  • Hundreds of fundraising tips and ideas to help smash your fundraising target
  • A dedicated cheering point along the half marathon course
  • Cheering pack for your supporters to use along the route
  • Free refreshments at our Charity Village gazebo
