Turn your pedal-power into pounds!

Assemble your team and get ready to take on other local organisations to see who has the legs to be our corporate cycling champions! Our City Cycle Challenge is part of the WMCA’s Giving Day and will help raise money and awareness of hospice care across our communities.

Teams (max. of 5 people) will compete in a thrilling 40-minute race on static bikes, with time divided equally among team members (e.g. 8-minute slots for a team of 5). So each person will need to pedal as fast as they possibly can to help their team become our cycling champions.

The challenge will take place over 3 sessions between 11.00am and 2.30pm on Friday 28th June at Millennium Point.

Team registration is £40.

We also ask that each team raises a minimum sponsorship of £400 to support our Hospice - this amazing amount will help us to care for more people living with life-limiting illness in Birmingham and Sandwell.

Teams will have the chance to shine and win prizes in the following categories:

  • Furthest distance cycled by the whole team
  • Furthest distance cycled by an individual male
  • Furthest distance cycled by an individual female

This event is part of the WMCA Mayor’s Giving Day which aims to help businesses give back to their local communities. In partnership with Birmingham St Mary’s, Compton Care will also be running the same event in Wolverhampton.

There will be an additional prize for… “Furthest team distance across both events".
