With our 40th year coming to an end we want to invite you to join in and help us build the foundations for another successful 40 years of hospice care!

As a local charity we are encouraging businesses in the local community no matter the size, to get moving and walk off the winter blues!

We are challenging you and your colleagues to walk, cycle, run or swim 40 miles within the month of March to help raise awareness and vital funds for the specialist palliative and end of life care our doctors and nurses provide in the local community to over 500 individuals every single day.

Within the challenge we are also asking you to pledge to raise £400 for hospice care which could pay for a lovely comfortable chair in our Day Hospice. Here, patients learn how to live well with their life-limiting illness as well as engaging in art therapy and socialising with other patients. They can ask any questions or concerns they might have about their illness and enjoy their time with us in a supportive and accepting environment.

The chairs used are vital in providing comfort and support to our patients in their time of need and you could pay for one of these.

Individuals: £5.00

Teams of up to 5: £20.00

This is a challenge that can be completed by anyone, even if it’s just going for a walk over your lunch break or getting off the bus a stop earlier to walk home, you can do it!
